Gluten Free

How This All Started...........

My blood pressure was elevated.  Off and on over the last few year since my last birthday my blood pressure has been up on a regular basis.  I started working with a health coach and eliminated a lot of food from my diet.  Food like, bread, sandwich meat, chips, crackers, steak.  I added more chicken, salad and fruit.  I noticed major changes right away.  I felt great and my blood pressure went down.  Then I started working on the weight, I added yoga.  I totally love YOGA!!!!!! 

The weight didn't come off, I started having stomach problems and read about gluten free on the Dr. Oz website.  I started adding gluten free food here and there and by December 2012 I had my energy back.

Speed forward to March 2013 - our entire family is going gluten free.  Not kidding.  I have been reading a lot of articles ADHD and gluten intolderance.  Its scary what we are eating and what it is doing to us.    

Chicken update


Our chickens are doing great.  We have learned so much about them, how to take care of them.  We have also learned that they are pretty amazing.


The chickens are in the background, this month they are 1 year old, March 2013. 

We have been having coyote and hawk problems lately so our free range chickens are not getting out of their play yard too much.
